Longhorn On The Loose In Colorado Gets Lassoed

A Longhorn in town for a parade decided he wanted to tour Colorado Springs recently.

In town for the "Ride for the Brand Championship Rodeo",  the longhorn broke free and got away from his handlers, running across the street and right into the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Colorado Springs.

The confusion of those in the area is easily seen as some decide to try and hold the door closed, but immediately realized the error of that thinking. The longhorn, tired of his visit to the gallery, decided to hoof it outside and that's where the hero cowboys come in.

Ropes at the ready they were able to lasso the longhorn and get him back under control.

None of the bystanders were injured during the attempted getaway, nor was the forlorn longhorn who had his city tour cut short by some quick thinking cowboys.
