Local Lakes Closed to Swimming

According to officials with the State Parks local swimming holes are closing due to low water levels. Ridgway State Park will close the swim beach on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 & Rifle Gap and Harvey Gap State Parks closed their swim beaches on Tuesday, Aug. 14 . Park Managers say swimming isn’t safe due to low water levels that have exposed dangerous rip rap and other hazards that are normally below the s
