Lazy Man Olympics Crowns 2019 Champions

Another Lazy Man Olympics is in the record books and we have our gold-medal winners.

The Bookcliff Country Club and the Doubletree Hotel were hosts for this annual event featuring two-person teams. After two days of "intense" competition consisting of poker, corn hole, golf, and beer, one team emerged as the champion.

Aside from having a ton of fun, the main purpose of the event is to raise money for a great cause. More than $5000  was raised for Hilltop Domestic Violence Services/ Latimer House, providing assistance and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. They offer a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, children's services, and transitional housing.

The day wrapped up with a fabulous dinner and award presentations at the Bookcliff Country Club. It was a great weekend, and we can't wait til next year!
