In case you're a little fuzzy in the head about what the Lazy Man Olympics are all about, I'm here to save the day and clear your head.

Lazy Man Olympics is two days of great fun March 22 and 23, and it's all for a great cause. But, here's the rest of the story.

It all starts on Friday night with a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament at the Doubletree. There's no money involved, but points are awarded based on where you finish. And there's beer.

Saturday morning is the cornhole tournament. And there's beer and a Bloody Mary Bar.

Next up is a wonderful BBQ lunch followed by 18 holes of golf on the exclusive Bookcliff Country Club golf course. And there's beer. Golf prizes include recliners from Black Carriage Furniture for longest drive and closest to the pin.

But, wait, there's more.

After golf is the awards ceremony and a fabulous dinner at the Bookcliff Country Club. And there's beer.

There will be door prizes, a prize for the best team name, and maybe even a prize for the worst team of the weekend. The scores from all three events will be combined, and the top three finishers win imitation gold, silver, and bronze medals.

Besides the fact that it's a ton of fun, the best part of the weekend is that all of the proceeds from team registrations goes directly to Hilltop's Latimer House. Latimer House helps those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.

This event is for two-person teams. It can be two guys, two women, or a guy and gal. Everybody is welcome to participate in some great fun and for a wonderful cause.

Space is limited so get signed up today and don't miss the first event of spring.
