Launching Balloons Could Be A Thing Of The Past

If you are one to celebrate with balloons at parties and anniversaries this could become a thing of the past. There are about six states that are trying to outlaw the releasing of helium-filled balloons. Environmentalists say the helium-filled balloons are bad for the environment and kill wildlife. Let's face it balloons are bad for the environment and as soon as we can stop the launching of helium-filled balloons in the air the better.

These states already have a ban on the release of balloons California, Connecticut, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia. These states are considering a ban by lawmakers Arizona, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island.

What do you think should Colorado follow suit? Many communities are becoming environmentally aware and are doing their part not release balloons into the air, Some go as far as deflated them and throwing them away.
