So what is Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach" all about? This is probably the cutest explanation ever. The Colorado Mesa University Department of Theatre Arts is opening the live version of the show on the Robinson Theater Mainstage on September 29, 2016

Making it's Western Slope debut with CMU, "James and the Giant Peach" is a magical tale of James, who is sent to chop down the old fruit tree, and instead finds a potion that brings the insect world into giant proportions. This will be a magical and fun journey for all ages.

There are 8 chances for you to catch the show in the CMU Performing Arts Center on 12th Street, including two matinee performances. The first matinee will be on Sunday, October 2nd at 2:00 p.m., with the second coming on Saturday, October 8th. The other shows are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m.

You can find out more about the show, and the upcoming Mainstage theatre season at the Department of Theatre Arts website,  and get your tickets through the Moss Performing Arts Center Box Office website or call 970-248-1604.
