Over $7 million worth of marijuana was found in the San Isabel National Forest in Colorado.

More than 7,400 plants have been seized by the Pueblo County Sheriff's Department. Officials did spot two individuals at the location, but they were able to run away.

Law enforcement was tipped off to the operation by a hiker who was randomly happened to come upon the plants.

This is not the first marijuana growing operation in that area. There have been four others since 2012. Investigators believe these are all connected to the Mexican cartel.
