How Do I Stop my Son from Pinching, Biting & Hitting

Just recently we've started having issues with my 20 month old son Dalton biting & hitting but mainly pinching. How do I stop this behavior?

Don't get me wrong, my son is amazing! We're blessed to have a very well behaved child but in the past month he has started biting, hitting and pinching. Mainly pinching, we'll just be hanging out, having fun, playing and he'll walk over and just pinch the tar of of you-well mainly mama, but he's doing it to everyone.

Now I know I'm not the only one with this issue. I belong to a baby group and all the other mommies have expressed concern over their child's behavior as well.

The strange thing is no one seems to be able to tell us how to handle it.

Some in the group are opposed to replying in kind, by pinching/biting their child back, but that's how I think you teach them WHY not to do it and not necessarily a bad teaching technique but they're concerned that if they tell their kid not to hit by smacking them on the hand they're showing them it's okay to hit.

Help!
