Here’s How You Can Help The Community Food Bank Of Grand Junction
The Community Food Bank of Grand Junction feeds hundreds of families each week in Mesa County. We need your help to collect non-perishable food items and also cash donations. Our goal is to collect 20,000 pounds of food and at least $10,000.
The Food Bank also needs help with holiday dinner food for their Thanksgiving meal they serve the community every year. Carville's Automart is challenging everyone in Mesa County to make this the most successful food collection ever for the Food Bank.
Here are the locations where you can drop off food and/or donate your spare change.
1. Carville's Auto Mart - Highway 6 and 50, Grand Junction
2. Townsquare Media, 315 Kennedy Avenue, Grand Junction
3. Community Food Bank, 200 Spruce Avenue, Grand Junction
All donations are greatly appreciated. Please note that cash donations are especially helpful since the Food Bank can purchase food from area retailers at greater quantities and lower rates than each of us can individually.
It's cliche, but it's also true. Everything you can do to help makes a difference for the people that need it most.
