Most Haunted Places in Which Grand Junction Residents Have Been
Halloween is right around the corner, and for some people, that means a visit to a haunted house. Haunted houses can be a lot of fun, especially when they're just old stores in a strip mall converted into a maze with dark corners, people in creepy costumes jumping out at you, etc.
However, some people like to visit actual haunted places during 'spooky season' which is a totally different thing.
There are plenty of places in Colorado that people claim are haunted. For example, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park is notoriously haunted and was not only where Stephen King's 'The Shining' was filmed, but it was also the inspiration for the story.
In addition, Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs is allegedly full of paranormal activity, and both of these places are hot spots for ghost hunters and those looking for a scare.
Curious, I posted a question on Facebook asking what the most haunted places you've been to are and got all kinds of responses.

The aforementioned Hotel Colorado and Stanley Hotel were both mentioned as a couple of the most haunted places you've been to, but there are plenty more right here in Colorado that came up.
For example, some claim that the Grand Junction Regional Center is haunted, as well as the Mesa County Courthouse, the former Pinball Jones building in Fort Collins, and Pinion Hall in Fort Collins, to name a few.
