C.L.A.W.S. needs our help.

The Grand valley's largest animal shelter is need of some volunteers and donations for the next few months.

More than 600 cats were placed in quality homes in the Grand Valley last year, thanks to C.L.A.W.S., but it is not cheap to do so. It runs the shelter about $5,500 a month to keep the operation going. That price includes microchipping, vaccinations and testing for Leukemia, spaying, and neutering.

C.L.A.W.S. is a nonprofit organization, so they rely heavily on donations and volunteers to work. Hopefully, you can give something to help their cause.

Here is a list of some of the items needed:

  • cat food, (Purina Kitten chow or Friskies)
  • cleaning supplies
  • cat litter
  • bleach

To find out what other items are needed or to donate some of your time to volunteer please call them at (970) 241-3793 or email at clawsgj@outlook.com
