  • Gift cards
  • Tech gadgets
  • Espresso machines
  • Sports gear
  • Vehicles

In The Eye of the Beholder

Okay, I can see buying some used furniture. I have a preference for antiques, anyway. I can see yard tools, too. When it comes to musical instruments, there's something to be said for older equipment. It's hard to beat a 60s model Fender, a classic Martin, or an aged woodwind. When it comes to textbooks, don't you just love it when someone has already underlined the important stuff?

I can't quite get on board with clothing. Sure, if you need a particular color sport coat, used is a good way to go. Aside from that, though, it's not my thing. Saving money with a used vehicle is awesome, but you often have the misfortune of inheriting someone else's problems.
