Grand Junction School Closings and Delays

School closures for Thursday December 5th.

According to KKCO the following are CLOSED:

• Montrose Schools & County Offices
• Community Options in Delta/Montrose County
• Olathe Schools

Ridgeway Schools are having a LATE start:

• Bus will run 2 hours later than normal

Here in the Grand Valley:

• School District 51 is IN session

According to the AP:

A deep freeze gripping parts of the West and Midwest has forced much of the country to deal with unexpectedly cool temperatures. Low temperatures in Denver were expected to drop just below zero through tomorrow but remain below 20 through the middle of next week. The storm dumped several inches of snow in Denver and led to the closure yesterday of the Denver Zoo.
