The Grand Junction Police Department were called to the scene of a crime where a man was stabbed with a samurai sword -- you are reading that correctly, the sword must have been closer than his "Rambo" knife.

According to KREX, authorities report the man walked aways with just a few stitches after being stabbed with the sword.

Police responded to what began as a domestic dispute Saturday afternoon, between a man and a woman who reside together. The girlfriend called her father to come help and when he showed up was when he was stabbed.

There was some yelling and fighting, and the girl was telling somebody to stop, knock it off. Then it was really quiet. All of the sudden there was cops, and a ambulance and a firetruck next door.

The stabber was arrested on Saturday, the case is under further investigation.
