Our favorite Grand Junction resident, Delaney Clements, wants nothing more than to meet Taylor Swift, and we'd love to make that wish come true.

13-year-old Delaney Clements was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at the age of 8. Since then, she's been undergoing treatment and now she's expected to go into hospice care.

Yesterday, December 9, Delaney's mom posted a message on Facebook stating Delaney was complaining of headaches and her head was tender in multiple spots. After an MRI, two tumors were discovered in her head. Now, Delaney will have to undergo five days of radiation to help relieve the pressure from the tumors.

Delaney's one wish, she wants nothing more than to meet Taylor Swift. The community of Grand Junction has jumped onboard with the hashtag campaign #DelaneyMeetTaylor to help this effort.

Share this story on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram with the hashtag #DelaneyMeetTaylor and ask your friends to do the same.

Let's give Delaney the best Christmas wish a girl could ask for.

[ORIGINAL STORY] All of us here at 99.9 KEKB have had the great pleasure of getting to meet and hang out with Delaney Clements on a few occasions.

Delaney has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, but with her energy, strength, and especially her smile you would never guess she's sick.

Currently, Delaney

Unfortunately, she will not be able to attend the Taylor Swift concert, because as she says, "Help... I'm being held captive..." at the Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora and that breaks our hearts which is why we want to do everything we can for this amazing girl. She has touched so many people in the Grand Junction area, and it's only right we do something for her.

Delaney would really love to meet Taylor Swift, and she even wrote Taylor an awesome letter using some of Taylor's song titles.

I know “All Too Well” that I have “Bad Blood” so the doctors say “All I have to do was stay” and “Breathe,” which is hard because I often get “Breathless.” I am “Innocent” and I know this is “Sad, Beautiful, Tragic.” I asked the doctors to “Tell Me Why” I have to “Stay, Stay, Stay.” I thought “The Moment I Knew” I ha tickets to the concert that I was the “Lucky One”. That going to see Taylor was my “Wildest Dream.” “This Love” I have is “Sweeter Than Fiction,” today I have “Teardrops on My Guitar” as I tell you “The Story of Us.” So, When I am on “The Outside,” I will “Begin Again” to try and meet you. “If This Was a Movie” you would come se me… “I Wish You Would.” Together we can sing “Our Song” and we will “Shake it Off.”

We are “Tied Together with a Smile” and I hope you know “The Way I Loved You.”

Can you help us get this to Taylor so we can help make Delaney's dream of meeting her come true? Spread this across all your social channels tagging Taylor Swift using the hashtag #DelaneysDream.
