I asked on Facebook, "If you had an extra $500 to spend only on yourself, how would you spend it?" The overwhelming number of responses was surprising, to say the least. It's amazing how selfless people can be. The question specified "...to spend on yourself." Regardless, many replied they would spend the money on others.

A number of people replied they would spend the money on new clothing? Why? Several stated they have lost so much weight recently their old clothes no longer fit. That's awesome!

Another popular answer involves traveling to visit family some haven't seen in ages. In a few cases, people said they would use the money to pay for family to come to visit them.
