Passenger traffic at Grand Junction Regional Airport increased to 483,000 passengers in 2023. The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports the airport served 571,000 passengers in 2024 and 639,762 passengers in 2025. This is a new record for the airport. Growth at Walker Field is up 13.6% in traffic over 2024. This is good news for the local economy, signaling tourism dollars are benefiting the Grand Valley instead of being spent at larger airports.
