The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports the airport served 571,000 passengers in 2024 and 639,762 passengers in 2025. This is a new record for the airport. Growth at Walker Field is up 13.6% in traffic over 2024. This is good news for the local economy, signaling tourism dollars are benefiting the Grand Valley instead of being spent at larger airports.
