Gateway School Cancelled due to Tanker Rollover

When I got the phone call from a listener this morning about traffic down Hwy 141 being delayed due to a tanker rolling on the ice, I didn't think anything about the kids going to school!

According to Christy Mcgee, the Public Information Officer for School District 51,

Due to the accident on Hwy 141 causing transportation issues and D51 wanting students and our bus to be safe and avoid the area, the Gateway School will be closed today, Jan. 25. I always post info on our FB page www.facebook.com/schooldistrict51 and on our website at www.d51schools.org.
