Colorado Ski Country USA has introduced a program called 5th Grade Passport which gives free ski days to 5th graders at 22 resorts in Colorado.

In a state where the most associated outdoor activity is skiing, many youngsters never get the chance to experience it. The Passport allows them to do something they may have always wanted to do but weren't able to.

Signing up a child is easy too. Proof of grade document and digital picture are all you will have to provide to get a passport for any fifth grader.

Sixth graders can also take advantage of the program by signing up and providing the same exact information.

Winter for many children isn't necessarily a time when they exercise or spend a lot of time being active. The passport gives them a chance to be on the mountain instead of just watching it on t.v.

The program isn't just for Colorado children, either.

Any fifth or sixth-grader can get signed up.
