If you are looking for something fun for the entire family, just stop by the Mesa County Central Library on Thursday nights for "Neighbors Read". Here is the schedule for September's events.

Neighbors Read happens at 6:30 p.m. each Thursday at the Central Library. It is a family-oriented story time in which members of the community read a book or give a fun presentation.
Neighbors Read is appropriate for kids of all ages and their families, with no charge to attend.
Topics and special guests scheduled for September are:
-- 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 – Theater performance from the kids of Creative Avenues. The cast of the upcoming musical “Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! Jr.” will perform and teach kids a few songs and dances.
-- 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 – A dance performance by the kids from Absolute Dance. Dance students between the ages of 6 and 10 will demonstrate the moves they have been learning in class.
-- 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 – Music from local band We Speak Imaginese, which returns to the library for fun bluegrass, country, and folk music.
-- 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 – Drawing demonstration from local artist Grace Rupp.
