The MCSO was notified this week that there was damage to the tower. The tower which sits off of C Road in the desert had to be shut down to access the damages. They found damage to the radar dish and the red warning lights. If it needs to be replaced, it will cost upwards of $250,000.

The tower is operating, and no air traffic was affected. There were 7 areas of damage found on the tower.
