Durango Colorado Making World Headlines As A Cool City

Don't you just love small town living at least you get to know your neighbors? I grew up in a small town and worked in small markets. I always loved the smaller towns. It kind of reminds of me of the TV show Mayberry RFD.

Durango was named one of America's coolest little towns. Durango was listed at number 4. Just like Grand Junction, there is plenty to do. Hiking biking, lots of outdoor activity. One reason they were named the coolest small town is their diversity. This town has less than 20,000 people but people from all over go to visit this small town.

For a town with only about 20,000 people, you would not know it by walking downtown. With art galleries, restaurants, theatres, wine tasting and music there is something for everyone. In addition, downtown Durango offers downtown walking tours. It might be fun to take a road trip and visit Durango.
