Don’t Be Scammed Grand Junction

Has anyone ever tried to scam you? Be on the lookout because it seems every day someone is trying to get information to steal from you.

Right now there is a scam going on where imposters are claiming to be from the Social Security Department, and they ask for you to call back right away with information. If you receive a call asking about your social security number, do not call back delete the number.

About two weeks ago I received a call from imposters claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House. They told me I won 2 million dollars and a shopping spree at Wal-Mart. They asked me how I felt I said I was in shock and then they told me I also won a car.

I saw that the number came from Jamaica and knew it was a scam. After I got off the phone with them I reported them to Publishers Clearing House, Publishers Clearing House assured me if I won they would just come to my house.
