Sales of cookbooks are on the rise. There an increase in sales of print cookbooks over last year. I love going to the Goodwill or Salvation Army and buying cookbooks. I have Thai, Korean, American, Grilling, Mexican Cookbooks and I love trying out new recipes. I even found a signed Emeril Lagasse cookbook at a vintage store, as well as Oprah's favorite recipes.

It is easy to go online and print out a recipe but it is much more fun to have a cookbook readily available just to look up what you want to cook.

Apparently, in Chicago there is a book store with a kitchen it is called Read It & Eat, a shop in a Chicago neighborhood. The bookstore, which is four years old, has cookbooks from around the world, and a test kitchen where recipes from the cookbooks are tried out.
