"Preserving Precious Memories" is what this day is billed as, but do you know when to celebrate?!

We've ALL got em and now's your chance to celebrate them!

According to the Grand Parents Day Website this day originated with a housewife in West Virginia that wanted to champion people in old folks homes and persuade grandchildren to "tap into the wisdom and heritage their grandparents could provide."

The holiday itself was established by our President Mr. Jimmy Carter in 1978 and is celebrated the FIRST Sunday after Labor Day!

Are you planning on celebrating with YOUR grandparents this year?

If you don't I'd be REALLY disappointed! My son Dalton wont ever have a chance to know most of his grandparents because they have already passed away and those are experiences he'll never have a chance to enjoy.

Take the opportunity while you have the chance to let them know how much you LOVE them!

Here are some IDEAS.
