Did DIRECTV Go Too Far with This Commercial?

DIRECTV's new commercials with Rob Lowe are a bit weird and kinda funny, but one group says the satellite company went too far. What do you think?

Personally I'm not a fan of DIRECTV, but their four new commercials with Rob Lowe are pretty clever.

In the commercials, Rob Lowe plays himself, who has DIRECTV and an alternate versions of himself who has cable. The commercials are titled, "Far Less Attractive Rob Lowe," "Creepy Rob Lowe," "Crazy Hairy Rob Lowe," and "Painfully Awkward Rob Lowe".

The problem is with "Painfully Awkward Rob Lowe".

In the commercial his character is attempting to urinate in a public restroom when he says, "Fact: I can't go with other people in the room" as he looks painfully distraught.

The commercial has attracted the attention of people who really do have a hard time peeing in public. It's a condition called "shy bladder syndrome" and they believe the commercial is making fun of them,

They've called for DIRECTV to pull the commercials, but so far DIRECTV has "flushed" that idea.
