Denver Dad, Young Daughter Impaled by Tree in Storm

The Denver Fire Department had initially been called to the scene of a person pinned under a tree after strong winds had caused it to fall.

It's hard to imagine how scary it must have been on Saturday, June 6, 2020, for this family. FOX31 Denver has the story of how a father and his nine-year-old daughter were both impaled by a fallen tree, while outside a family member's house.

Luckily, the daughter just needed a few stitches and was released from the hospital. Her dad, however, was impaled through the back, which required surgery.

Very scary.
