Maybe you've heard about the Colorado State University Spur and maybe you haven't. It seems to still be a bit of a mystery. The goal of the Colorado State University Spur is to invite everyone and anyone to learn about all kinds of cool stuff. They phrase it as "a free, public learning destination for everyone."

CSU Spur has 3 beautiful, cutting-edge buildings on the grounds of the National Western Campus off I-70. These buildings are titled Vida, Terra, and Hydro.

CSU Spur partners with the Dumb Friends League, Denver Water, the Temple Grandin Equine Center, and the CSU College of Agriculture. Spend a day wandering through these buildings experiencing "a laboratory, veterinary clinic, market, museum, art studio, classroom, garden, innovation center…all in one!"

Vida is about animal and human health. The second location of the Temple Grandin Equine Center is in this building. There are live dog and cat surgeries that you can observe and an underwater treadmill for horse therapy.
