Do you have a $9.84 charge on your credit card statement? You may want to read this.

Most of us wouldn't notice a charge this small from a generic company, and if we did we'd think it was no big deal, but it could be credit card fraud!

I was looking over my statement the other day and ran across a couple of charges that neither my husband nor I recognized, luckily we were able to call our bank and they were able to tell us where the charges were made and we thankfully remembered making the purchases.

But a lot of people don't pay that close attention to their bills, and wouldn't think twice about a small charge, and would assume it was for something they'd forgotten, like we had.

That may NOT be the case!

I was just reading in the Huffington Post that a group a criminals has stolen $9.84 from a million people!

Why? Because, such a small amount would most likely go unnoticed or pursued, unlike stealing a million dollars from 10 people.

Experts say that when the word gets out, criminals will most likely change the amount, so that they can continue to go unnoticed, so you should watch your statement for ANY unknown charges.

If you find any, it may be time to get a new card!
