It's that time of the year where we get to take our best shot at making the scariest or funniest Jack-o-lanterns.Most of us don't have the patience to carve a pumpkin. But if you work as a team it goes a lot quicker.

My fiance and I decided to try one that would frighten the kids as they come up our creaky steps to the front door and make them wonder if they were about to get a trick rather than a treat. Guess we'll have to wait till the 31st!

Are buddy Zack went with one --far left--that looks similar to a ghost, or a Jack-o-lantern that is really confused! The next one over is Matt's that has the snowman nose, but looks like it has some sort of birth defect. Jackie decided to make her Jack-o-lantern into her husband Matt--second from right. He recently shaved his beard into a sweet stash and looks like dude off of Super Troopers.Last but not least Stevie's Jack-o-lantern--far right-- with some pretty sweet eyebrows and a few teeth in his s*** eating grin. Looks like something out of Clifton.

We all had a great time carving Jack-o-lanterns and it was a great excuse to have a couples night. Some essentials you will need: Michelob Ultra, chips, guac, jalapeno dip, sharp knife, spoon, patience and candles. Oh and a pumpkin, preferably round.
