Cannot imagine what kind of experience that must have been.

According to this ABC report the Colorado woman who was trapped upside down in her car for 6 days is suing the car manufacturer, General Motors.

In April 2014, Kristin Hopkins was driving her 2009 Chevy Malibu, when it drove off highway 285 near Fairplay, CO and down and embankment more than 300 feet.

Krisitn Hopkins spent the next several days hoping and praying she would be found.

The law suit claims several of the car's systems failed. Including traction control, the power steering, electronic stability control and the panic braking assist all failed. Her lawyer also claims that GM knew of all these problems and reacted too late to resolve them. The 2009 Chevy Malibus were recalled, but the first notice came two months after the accident.
