In November of 2020, voters in Colorado narrowly passed a measure to reintroduce wolves to the forests of the Centennial State. Just over one year later, Colorado Parks and Wildlife seem to be investigating their first report of a wolf kill in more than 70 years.

The group bringing the claim to Colorado Parks and Wildlife's attention is the Colorado Cattleman's Association.

Colorado Cattleman's Association Reports Wolf Kill in Walden Colorado

In a story published by the Denver Post, the group claims that a 500-pound heifer was attacked by a group of wolves near Walden, Colorado. The CCA issued a press release about the kill at the beginning of the week.
