After more than four decades, two best friends who fought in the Vietnam war together were reunited.

Robert Hildebrand and Jeff Wicks have not seen or spoken to each other since 1975. They served together on the USS Constellation during the war. That's when Robert was discharged. They never saw each other again. Until now.

Thanks to the website navybuddies.com, the two friends arranged to meet after 42 years. Robert saw Jeff on the website and simply e-mailed him. All Jeff could say when he saw who the e mail was from was 'Wow.'

The reunion took place in Colorado Springs, where Robert lives. They spent a lot of time reminiscing and recollecting about their time in the war, other war buddies and just catching up after all that time.

Jeff said it best when he said it was like going back in time. They both have now vowed to stay in touch.

If you know of a veteran who may be looking for others that they have served with and have lost touch, head to the Veterans' Service records site.
