According to the Jefferson County Health Department, it is a crisis in Jefferson County. Not only are Colorado teens Vaping more than the National average they are four times as more likely to Vape than to smoking cigarettes.
According to a recent survey, 1in 3 adolescents report using some form of tobacco/nicotine. According to the survey, less than 10 percent smoke tobacco but 27 percent vaped.

The FDA has taken steps to crack down on retailers who promote e-cigarette use to minors. As a part of the crackdown, Walgreens is raising the age limit to 21 to buy tobacco and nicotine products.
