Colorado Rockies Mascot

The Colorado Rockies has a dinosaur as their mascot. This might seem random, but there is a reason for it.

During the building of Coors Field, dinosaur fossils were found on the construction grounds. One of the fossils included a triceratop's skull, which is why Rockie's Mascot 'Dinger' is a triceratop.

Keep in mind the above names are actual dinosaur names.
