Beloved Grocery Chain Announces New Store To Open In Colorado

Trader Joe’s is growing its footprint in Colorado. Demand for the grocery chain, recently ranked best for customer satisfaction, is rising across the country. Shoppers love the free samples served up by employees in Hawaiian shirts.

The new Trader Joe's store is one of 30 locations opening across the country in 2025, and it's the only new market opening in the Centennial State. So, where is the lucky Colorado community? Is it Grand Junction? No, actually.

Trader Joe’s Expands in Colorado

The new Trader Joe's opens this week (on July 25th) at City Center Marketplace (92nd & Sheridan Blvd) in Westminster, Colorado. The store fills in a 25-mile gap between Boulder and Denver, where there was no Trader Joe's location. This new location is the 8th Trader Joe's Market in Colorado. Our state is also home to a couple of Trader Joe's Wine Shops, one in Denver and another in Colorado Springs.

The Westminster location is just 11 miles from the Trader Joe's on Colorado Boulevard. The new location matters because it cuts down on travel time on overcrowding at the other locations. The City Center Marketplace location also offers layout and parking improvements as the company continues to learn from sister locations around the country.
