One Person Dead After Driving Off Colorado National Monument
The lone occupant of the vehicle that went over the edge of the Colorado National Monument has died.
Various law enforcement agencies responded when a car went over the edge of the Colorado National Monument near the Coke Ovens. According to KKCO 11 News, the vehicle fell a distance of 600 feet.
Arlene Jackson, a spokesperson for the National Park Service, reports the male in the vehicle has died.
KREX 5 and Fox 4 reporter John Madden reports search and rescue teams are currently assisting.
