Colorado Mesa University Ski Swap and Showing of Warren Miller’s ‘Flow State’

If you haven't seen any of Warren Miller's films this would be a great chance to see some of the epic footage he is able to capture of professional skiers and snowboards going big! While your at it pick up some fresh gear.

The Colorado Mesa University Ski Swap is coming up this Friday --November 17th-- in the University Center Ballroom. This is your chance to get some great deals on new and used gear and to get your ride waxed up. Plus you'll have a chance to win some prizes from Gene Taylor’s Sporting Goods, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Loki, Wine Country Inn and a whole lot more.

The CMU Ski Swap will fund the Maverick Ski team. Plus you'll have a chance to see a one night showing of Warren Miller's 'Flow State'. I could try and go into detail about how epic this movie is and how incredible Warren Miller is at making these films every year, instead I'll just show you the trailer.

The CMU Ski Swap takes place from 3-9pm Friday November 17th at the University Ballroom right off of 12th and Elm. You can find parking in the parking garage. Parking for this event is free. Admission is $5 for students with a valid ID and $10 for the general public to benefit the Maverick Ski Teams. Hope to see you there.
