Enrollment continues to rise at Colorado Mesa University.

More than 11,000 students will converge on the grounds of Colorado Mesa University as the fall semester begins Monday, August 22.

While the majority of those students are in-state enrollments, the number of non-Colorado applicants has doubled in the past seven years. Now, 14 percent of the CMU population is out-of-state.

Can you believe that this school started in 1925 with just six students?

So, with the semester kicking off Monday, there will as always, be an increase in car traffic and pedestrian traffic (especially around 12th and North.)

Our question this morning has to do with the increased CMU enrollment.
