Colorado Mesa Basketball Squads Back in Action Tonight

Tonight the Colorado Mesa Mavericks will be taking on the Western Colorado State University Mountaineers. That's a mouth full. The Mavericks are over in Gunnison, so you won't be able to watch the game live.

You are in luck though. You can listen to the game live on our sister station AM 1230 KEXO. The pregame kicks off for the women at 5:00 p.m. and tip off is at 5:30. The women are #1 in the RMAC, #1 in the Southwest Regional Polls and #4 in NCAA Division II Coaches Poll. So the Lady Mavs have a lot riding on this game and next weekends games.

The men are #3 in the RMAC with only Metro State and Fort Lewis in front of them. They are also ranked in the Southwest Regional Polls at #6. The Maverick Men need to win this game tonight at 7:30 to seal a home playoff spot in the RMAC. They have tough competition next week with Adam State and Fort Lewis to end the regular season.
