Colorado Man Caught With Trunk Full of Pot in Southeast Wyoming
A 29-year-old Tabernash, Colorado man is facing felony drug charges after a Wyoming trooper found more than 100 pounds of marijuana in his rental car.
Court records say Jonathon A. Miller was stopped at milepost 372 on Interstate 80 on Nov. 22 after a trooper noticed him make an unsafe lane change.
The traffic stop led to a search of the car and several large duffel bags containing 112.6 pounds of marijuana were reportedly found in the trunk.
Miller was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and felony possession of marijuana. If convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison.
Miller is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $5,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 5 at 1:30 p.m.
