Man Built Colorado Magic Mushroom House on Hallucinogenic Drugs
Few would argue that Colorado isn't 'magical' in a lot of ways. However, you may be surprised to find out that a very unique, maybe the most unique home in the state, was built by a man who was allegedly under the influence of magic mushrooms and LSD.

What many refer to as The Magic Mushroom House is located in Aspen, and has quite the backstory.
The home was built between 1973 and 1979, primarily by a man by the name of Andre Ulrych. Ulrych was an architect, but he didn't have experience in actually building homes. That, however, didn't stop him from creating a breathtaking and delightfully weird house in the Aspen mountains.
According to the home's owner, Patty Findlay, Ulrych was under the influence of psilocybin, or what many refer to as magic mushrooms, shrooms, boomers, etc. the entire time he came up with the structure of the home and built it. Findlay also claims that Ulrych took LSD while building it, but who's really keeping track?
Findlay also says that the home has had numerous famous guests including artist Andy Warhol and even Hugh Hefner allegedly threw at least one party at the house.
The home is unique in many ways, one of which is the fact that it doesn't have any corners, but nearly every room is round in some way. There are treehouse elements, numerous walkways, stained glass windows, and the house has more plants than a small jungle.
