The reality is more complicated. Since there is no statewide lawn-mowing curfew in Colorado, cities, counties, and HOAs often decide when you can legally mow the lawn.
Colorado does enforce a state-wide noise ordinance, which is often in place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. During these hours, noise should not exceed 55 decibels at your property line (residential areas).
