AAA reports that Mesa County gas prices are below Colorado’s average and continue to fall. Thanks to an ample supply going into the new year, prices are expected to dip even further heading into January. - Phillips 66: 2896 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO — $2.70/gal regular Way
- Conoco: 2998 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO — $2.87/gal regular Way
Diesel in Mesa County runs in the mid-$3s depending on delivery cycles. With local averages already low compared to statewide pricing, small seasonal declines may continue into January 2026.
Delta County: Where to Fill Up Without Breaking the Bank
According to Way.com, gas prices in Delta County are not as low as in Grand Junction. Here are three of the best prices around Delta:

- Shell: 766 Main St, Delta, CO — $3.25/gal regular Way
- City Market: 122 Gunnison River Dr, Delta, CO — $3.39/gal regular Way
Diesel options here tend to track above regular unleaded, but overall, Delta remains a good mid-range pump zone. Prices could ease slightly after the holidays if crude markets stay calm.
Montrose County: Best Local Deals
According to Way.com, gas prices in Montrose County are also higher than in Grand Junction. Here are three of the best prices around town to buy gas:
