It is that time of year where local and state wide food drives began to show up and ask for your help. But, in Colorado, some food banks have had to close.

With 2017 suffering from multiple natural disasters and ranking in the Top Ten all time of worst hurricane seasons, we have been asked to give and give to help out our fellow mankind. But, that does with a cost. How much can we all afford to give?

The Fresh Harvest Pantry in Lone Tree has closed. Denver Urban Matters has closed.

This is why we on the Western Slope have to dig deep this holiday season.

KEKB and Townsquare Media have once again teamed up with the Community Food Bank of Grand Junction for our annual food drive going on now through December 26.

There are several drop-off locations including, LOKI at 445 Colorado Avenue, Farmer's Insurance at 555 North Ave + 25-18 Monument Road and our offices at 315 Kennedy Avenue.

Look for us at different locations coming up :

  • Safeway on Patterson - Saturday, November 11th from 10-3.
  • Safeway on Horizon - Saturday, November 18th from 10-3
  • Safeway on Broadway - Saturday, December 16th from 10-3.
