A Colorado Fighter With a 'Hippie Vibe'

Her name is Sylvie Von Duuglas-Ittu, and she's an American Muay Thai fighter known for documenting her evolving career on her YouTube channel. She now spends the majority of her time in Thailand. In one of her many videos on Youtube, though, she states she is originally from Boulder, Colorado. She adds this is the reason why some of her philosophies have a bit of a "hippie vibe" about them.

According to WBS Muay Thai, on February 4, 2023, Sylvie von Dugglas-Ittu was named the Minimumweight World Champion.

What Is a Minimumweight?

Boxing Wiki reports that Minimumweight, a.k.a. strawweight or mini flyweight, is a weight class division in combat sports. The most notable of which is in professional boxing where boxers may weigh no more than 105 pounds.

Where Sylvie von Dugglas-Ittu is concerned, she has weighed in for fights as light as 99 pounds. When it comes to the recent world championship, she must have eaten a crouton or something and tipped the scales at 100 pounds.
