A Colorado man is looking for the public's assistance in finding his best friend, a pitbull named Zuri who was abducted.

According to a report from OutThereColorado, Bryan Parks is searching Colorado endlessly in an effort to be reunited with his precious pup Zuri who was dognapped on Sunday, February 6.

Colorado Pet Abducted in Denver

It was just another day for Bryan who was delivering groceries in Denver for Instacart alongside his fur baby Zuri, a 9-year-old blue nose pitbull.

Bryan exited his van to drop off an order but he left the keys in the ignition so that Zuri could stay nice and toasty in the van.

Unfortunately, some no-good jerks pulled up alongside his van before he even reached the door to deliver the groceries.

Bryan says that a woman hopped out of a vehicle that looked similar to an old undercover cop car. The woman jumped into Bryan's van and sped away with Zuri still inside!

Colorado Community Efforts to Find Lost Dog

Of course, Bryan pursued the thief, but chasing them on foot was a severe disadvantage.

Since then Bryan has been searching nonstop to be reunited with Zuri.

"She's like my kid. I don't know what it is like to have a human child, but she is my kid. We have traveled to 43 states together, and I want to make it to 50. I just want to know if she is safe," Parks stated

A police report was filed regarding Zuri's abduction and the theft of the van, but Bryan isn't the slightest bit worried about his van.

"I just want my dog back. I don't care about my possessions. I don't care about my van. There is a life at stake here," Parks said.

How You Can Help Find This Missing Colorado Pet

Zuri was last seen wearing a purple jacket with matching purple booties.

Bryan has created a Facebook group called Help Find Zuri so that there's a centralized location for possible sightings and to keep the public updated on the search.

In addition, there is now a Gofundme to help cover costs for the reward, a private investigator, and the cost of fliers/handbills.

Currently, the reward is set at $1,000 with no questions asked.

If you have information regarding Zuri's abduction please reach out to detectives with the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
