A Denver-based Cub Scout Camp teamed up with an unusual partner.

Always be prepared. Isn't that the Cub Scouts motto? Maybe not, but it might be now.

This story comes out of Denver and Grand Junction's KJCT NEWS gives us this report. The Frontier District Day Camp is now under fire from parents because of their relationship with Hooters restaurants.

One parent was quoted as saying:

' just the philosophies of the two organizations are polar opposites and I just don’t think they should be together.'

The camp responded to one of the parents concerns with this:

'The restaurant assisted with the costs of putting on the camp, and through their community volunteering several of their waitresses donated their time to help staff the camp. Glad to hear your son had such a good time.'

Well, there's going to be a debate about this, for sure.
