CNN Airs Inspiring Story About Deputy Geer

CNN aired a special segment on Deputy Derek Geer's impact. In body and in spirit.

On February 8, 2016 Deputy Derek Geer was mortally wounded while on duty. Laid to rest a week later. But his impact continues to be felt, not only in the Grand Junction area, but now thanks to CNN, world wide.

Interesting thing I learned is that Kate Geer tells CNN that she and her husband agreed on everything. Well, everything except organ donation. She was resistant, but Derek talked her into. He explained about how many lives it could save.

For Deputy Geer, that number of lives would be four. Especially Alan Bronson.
