The Colorado Mesa University Department of Music presents the CMU Symphony Orchestra, directed by its new conductor Joung Hoon Song, tonight at Robinson Theatre.

Joung Hoon Song has performed throughout North America, Europe, and Asia as a director and violinist. Dr. Song, a graduate of Juilliard, and a Master of Music and Artist graduate of Yale, as well as Doctor of Musical Arts from Boston University, assumed the post of Director of the CMU Symphony earlier this season.

Tonight's program consists entirely of selections from Mozart. In addition to conducting, Dr. Song will also be the featured violinist on Mozart's Concerto No. 3 in G Major. Tonight's concert will also feature CMU faculty Jane Kuenzel on Mozart's Andante in  C Major for Flute and Orchestra.
